RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Serve as an essential member of the patient care team responsible for delivery of direct and indirect patient care
• Assess patients upon admission and throughout their stay
• Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood products as needed
• Provide comprehensive patient education
• Document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses
• Work in emergency department providing full spectrum of emergency care
• Support separate Chest Pain Center operations
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 1 year previous nursing experience required
• At least 1 year previous critical care nursing experience required
• Must not be a previous employee of this healthcare system
• Must reside outside of a 50 mile radius
• Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation
• Facility reserves right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13 week contract
• Candidates with license hits or background actions will not be accepted
