RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures
• Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
• Initiate computerized Plan of Care on admission
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments under appropriate supervision
• Float to other qualified departments as needed
• Work independently while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Communicate effectively with patients from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds
• Provide age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial patient care
• Incorporate guest relations in daily activities
• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing required
• Current Oregon RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level required
• BSN or MSN preferred
• CMSRN certification preferred
• Previous medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• CRASE training required if assignment extends beyond 6 months
