Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Ultrasound Tech - MFM
Job Details:
• Provide healthcare services applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment
• Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in OB/GYN, abdomen, breast, vascular, and small parts
• Work as an Advanced User with in-depth knowledge of all clinical ultrasound applications and workflow
• Serve as in-house training resource for peers, vendors, and applications personnel
• Perform diagnostic sonography procedures and corroborate patient clinical history
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide instructions to minimize anxiety
• Select and operate ultrasound equipment and associated devices
• Position patients and equipment to demonstrate anatomic areas of interest
• Evaluate images for technical quality and proper identification
• Practice aseptic techniques and maintain Universal precautions
• Assist with interventional procedures and verify informed consent
• Provide patient education and emotional support during procedures
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions
• Participate in quality assessment and improvement plans
• Required: Associate or bachelor's degree from CAHEA accredited sonography program
• Required: 2 years MFM experience
• Required: OBMI and ARDMS registered US Sonographer certification
• Required: Current BLS certification
• Preferred: CRASE training (required if assignment extends beyond 6 months)

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
