Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Full-time position working 36 hours per week
• Schedule includes both day and night shifts: April 1st through May 8th day shift, May 9th through June 27th night shift
• Must be CT registered, not just experienced
• Minimum 2 years CT experience required
• Current Registration by the ARRT (R)(CT)(MR) or its equivalent required
• Must have graduated from an approved ARRT program
• Provide quality patient care while performing radiographic and CT procedures with accuracy and professionalism
• Determine proper technique through selection of voltage, current and exposure time to minimize patient and staff exposure
• Properly position patients to obtain optimum views of specified body areas as requested by physician
• Maintain proper technique according to ALARA for both adult and pediatric patients
• Perform quality MR exams and use MRI safety questionnaire to ensure patient safety
• Transport patients to and from department and assist patients from bed or gurney to exam table
• Ensure required consent forms are signed prior to examination and obtain pertinent patient history
• Practice sterile techniques and cleanliness at all times to prevent cross-contamination
• Perform radiographic procedures in operating rooms, emergency rooms, recovery room and patient rooms using portable equipment
