RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in emergency department
• Assess patients during admission and throughout their stay
• Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood products as needed
• Provide patient education and document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses
• Work in emergency center offering full spectrum of emergency care and separate Chest Pain Center
• Must have 1+ year previous experience required
• At least 1 year previous critical care nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Must not be a previous employee of this facility
• Must reside outside of a 50 mile radius
• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13 week contract
• Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered
• Local travelers will receive a reduced hourly rate
