RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• On-call requirement: one night per week and one weekend per month
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• 3 years of RN experience with 1 year of critical care experience required
• Cardiovascular Intervention experience required
• Current Wisconsin or Compact RN licensure required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Must successfully pass EKG test
• National Institute Healthcare Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Utilize nursing process and critical thinking in collaboration with interdisciplinary team
• Perform patient assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and policies
• Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation according to established standards
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physician
• Provide patient and family education at appropriate level of understanding
• Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance
• Utilize clinical expertise to support other units and departments
• Manage complex situations and delegate appropriately to other staff
• Support peer review and feedback opportunities
