Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Provide technical procedures requiring use of ionizing radiation
• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations using proper technical factors
• Evaluate each film for proper exposure and positioning
• Schedule examinations and instruct patients on exam preparations
• Set up and organize rooms for radiographic procedures
• Exercise independent judgment and technical skills to produce optimal radiography for diagnosis and treatment
• Demonstrate astute communication skills with employees, physicians, visitors, patients, families, and administration
• Work independently, make decisions, and adapt to emergency situations
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Communicate both orally and in writing with peers, professional staff, and patients
• Provide quality service and be sensitive to patient and co-worker needs
• Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment and ability to lift/move patients
• Ability to maneuver equipment greater than or equal to 20 pounds
• Position requires flexibility in continually changing conditions
• Frequent changes in position including stooping, standing, bending, and moderate lifting
• Visual and hearing acuity required to receive feedback from patients
• Must be graduate with ARRT Registry certification
• Reports directly to Imaging Services Manager
