Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Full-time position working Monday through Friday from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• Perform Computed Tomography exams with and without power contrast injections
• Utilize automatic exposure control and accurate technical factors (kvp, ma, time and distance)
• Position patients appropriately and follow radiologist protocols
• Transport, transfer, and position patients safely while monitoring their mental and physical condition
• Maintain accurate patient and image documentation in HIS/RIS and PACS systems
• Administer contrast media and start IVs when appropriate
• May be assigned on-call standby shifts as needed by the department
• Handle confidential information according to HIPAA regulations
• Act as mentor to students from affiliated Radiology Technology Programs
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists RT(R) (CT) registration required
• Minimum of two years experience in hospital setting preferred
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level required within three months of hire
• Physical requirements include occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent standing/walking, and manual dexterity
