Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician
Job Details:
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients orally, by injection, or inhalation
• Explain imaging procedures to patients, answer questions, and ensure patient comfort during positioning for scans
• Operate imaging equipment including SPECT/CT scanners
• Process images of brain, thyroid, bone, heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver using computer systems
• Maintain detailed records of radiopharmaceutical amounts, types, and procedures
• Produce computer-generated images for physician interpretation
• Follow strict safety procedures to protect staff and patients from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Work with Radiant Epic Access system
• NH license and certification to practice nuclear medicine required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• 1 year of experience preferred
• Must possess excellent technical and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills essential
• Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
• Lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds frequently, occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
