Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week on mid shift schedule with weekend rotation
• Multi-modality technologist position
• Must maintain active status in all modalities practiced
• Required certifications: ARRT registered in Radiography, ARRT registered in CT, WI-DSPS radiographer license, AHA Provider BLS/CPR
• Perform competent imaging exams within assigned modalities
• Corroborate patient clinical history with procedures and ensure proper documentation
• Prepare patients for procedures, provide instructions, and minimize patient anxiety
• Select and operate imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories
• Position patients to demonstrate anatomic areas of interest while respecting patient comfort
• Practice aseptic technique and prepare/administer contrast media as appropriate
• Start and maintain intravenous access when required
• Initiate basic life support actions when necessary
• Provide patient education and practical instruction for students and partners
• Maintain inventory control and provide input for supply and equipment decisions
• Observe universal protocol, standard precautions, and appropriate patient identifiers
