Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week for 13-week assignment
• Perform computerized tomography procedures including invasive procedures
• Operate Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner
• Position and instruct patients for CT procedures
• Operate specialized radiology equipment and determine technical exposure factors
• Ensure correct marking and labeling of all films
• Provide safe, quality patient care consistently
• Take call responsibilities as assigned
• Must be graduate of approved AMA school of Radiology and registered ARRT
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy required
• Two years diagnostic experience desirable
• Physical requirements include lifting 40 pounds from floor to wheelchair, moving 40 pounds six feet, reaching overhead holding 25 pounds, and pushing 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
• Good stamina, flexibility, and manual dexterity required for operating delicate equipment
• Computer skills and accurate judgment/decision-making abilities essential
• Provide quality customer service following established hospital policies and procedures
