RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg PCU Tele Float Pool Adult

Job Details:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients within assigned hospital units
• Float between multiple units as needed, including psychiatric units
• Complete comprehensive clinical documentation including care plans each shift
• Participate in bedside shift reports, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding using AIDET
• Maintain compliance with unit-specific competencies and requirements
• Complete all net learning modules within specified timeframes
• Participate in daily unit-based safety huddles
• Monitor and understand nurse sensitive indicators (CAUTI, CLABSI, CDIFF, HAPU, FALLS, HH, VAE)
• Actively participate in quality initiatives and performance improvement programs
• Serve as preceptor for new nurses when needed
• Delegate care aspects and unit activities to other nursing personnel
• Collaborate with nursing students and instructors
• Complete dysrhythmia course prior to completion of orientation (required for telemetry departments)
• Current New Hampshire RN license required
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Basic Dysrhythmia training preferred or must be obtained prior to orientation completion
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or must be obtained prior to orientation completion
• Graduate of approved nursing program preferred
• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
• Facility reserves right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
