RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts weekly from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Contract length of 8-13 weeks
• Provide immediate, specialized emergency care as part of multidisciplinary emergency medical service provider team
• Assess and stabilize patients in the emergency room
• Coordinate patient care and provide effective communication with staff, patients, and families
• Work with EMR system: Meditech Expanse
• Regular day, evening, night and weekend shifts available
• OSHA Category A position with potential exposure to blood and other infectious body substances
• Physical requirements include bending, lifting, standing, walking, and ability to perform CPR
• Valid and current New York State RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience required
• Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the life span
• Ability to individualize plan and delivery of care based on patient needs
