RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Function as both caregiver and care manager for ICU patients
• Implement nursing process and direct/oversee work of other caregivers through delegation and supervision
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status
• Document patient care via electronic medical records per policy and regulatory requirements
• May function as Charge Nurse including patient assignments, admits/discharges, and staff coordination
• Work 8 to 12 hour shifts with frequent standing, walking, lifting, and physical demands
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and perform CPR when needed
• Current Washington State RN license required
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire required
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
• PALS certification required within 12 months of hire
• TNCC certification required within 12 months of hire
• PEARS certification required within 12 months of hire
• Moderate sedation training required within 12 months of hire
• Minimum one year RN experience preferred for specialty departments
• Acute care registered nurse experience preferred
• May cancel up to two shifts per month or up to six shifts within any 13 week assignment
