Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and Surgery
• Serve as first line interface with patients for imaging needs
• CT certification required
• Valid Illinois Radiology license required
• CPR/AED certification required
• Must be graduate from accredited/approved school of radiology
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
• Adhere to established dress code requirements
• Attend all mandatory education and in-service programs
• Maintain punctuality according to hospital and department standards
• Comply with all hospital confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
• Maintain accurate and timely Medical Imaging patient medical records
• Identify patients and review requisitions for consistency
• Assess patient condition and ensure safety through proper use of restraint/support devices
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate pertinent data
• Use computer systems for documentation and patient information management
• Organize patient care and set priorities with critical care taking precedence
• Participate in training and orientation of new employees
• Physical demands include standing/walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and performing fine motor tasks
