Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, and Surgery
• Responsible for patient safety protocols and serve as first line interface with patients
• CT certification required along with CPR/AED certifications
• Must maintain valid Illinois Radiology license
• Graduation from an accredited/approved school of radiology required
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
• Adhere to established dress code and professional standards
• Attend all mandatory education and in-service programs
• Maintain punctuality according to hospital and department standards
• Comply with all hospital confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
• Maintain accurate and timely Medical Imaging patient medical records
• Identify patients and review requisitions for examination consistency
• Assess patient condition and ensure safety through proper use of restraint/support devices
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate pertinent data
• Use computer systems to document patient information accurately
• Organize patient care and set priorities with critical care first
• Participate in training and orientation of new employees
• Physical demands include ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and perform fine motor tasks
