Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Provide specialized diagnostic and therapeutic medical services on inpatient and outpatient basis
• Operate as Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist responsible for technical operation of radiologic x-ray equipment
• Process radiographic images using advanced CT scanning technology
• Must have expertise to operate teleradiology and fax equipment
• Support services across multiple departments including Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and ENT
• Must have successfully completed radiology training from AMA approved school
• Minimum 3 years experience in radiology field with CT specialization required
• Current valid Arizona State License in Radiology (R) required
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiology with advanced qualifications in CT Scan (RT)(CT) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required and must be maintained throughout employment
• Orientation provided every 2 weeks
• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date

This JCAHO accredited health center serves a 4,400 square mile area and functions as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The 73-bed facility was constructed in 1975 and provides comprehensive healthcare services including inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures. The facility performs approximately 49% of surgeries as outpatient/ambulatory procedures and maintains a diverse medical staff including surgeons, specialists, and comprehensive nursing and dental teams.
