Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Echo Technologist - Echo Tech Cardiac Imaging

Job Details:

• Monday-Friday day shift schedule
• Perform transthoracic (TTE), transesophageal (TEE), and stress echocardiograms as ordered per protocol
• Follow American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines and physician orders
• Operate ultrasound and diagnostic imaging equipment to acquire high-quality cardiac images
• Utilize contrast agents such as Definity and agitated bubble techniques when appropriate
• Analyze echocardiographic data and prepare preliminary findings for interpreting Cardiologist
• May start and manage intravenous (IV) lines for contract echocardiography when credentialed and trained
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
• Review and evaluate images for clarity, completeness, and diagnostic value
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and reports in PACS or EMR system
• Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and report malfunctions promptly
• Comply with infection control, HIPAA, and patient safety standards
• Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with focus in Cardiac Sonography required
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Echo Tech required, 3 years preferred
• Experience with stress and TEE echocardiographic techniques preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and frequently push, pull, carry, or reposition objects up to 25 pounds
• May float to other departments where qualified to perform patient care
