RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour varied shifts over a 13-week assignment
• Initiate and implement plan of care based on medical, surgical and nursing diagnosis
• Assess and monitor physical status of surgical patients
• Create and maintain sterile field during surgical procedures
• Anticipate equipment and supplies needed before cases begin
• Supervise personnel and coordinate with other departments
• Demonstrate knowledge of expected surgical outcomes and anesthesia drugs
• Adapt to surgical procedures and set priorities during emergencies
• State of California Registered Nurse License required
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of two years operating room experience required
• Housing available depending on availability (walking distance to hospital)
• Dorm-style housing options include one-bedroom apartments and studios with private kitchen and bathroom
• All apartments furnished with amenities including wi-fi, cable, pool, and fitness facilities
