RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Work full-time 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts
• No holiday requirements
• Collaborate in a team environment to coordinate patient care in the Cardiology Clinic for multiple areas (Cardiology Clinic, EP/Afib Clinic and Testing Center)
• Provide pre and post-operative education for Cardiology and EP procedures
• Educate patients about cardiovascular conditions and treatment options
• Triage patients' physical symptoms and arrhythmias appropriately
• Cover RN Testing Center and Cardiac PET CT Imaging procedures when needed
• Participate in Transition of Care Management for discharge medications and instructions
• Review daily lab/test results, physician tasks and clinical worklist assignments
• BSN degree highly preferred
• Minimum of two years cardiovascular clinic experience and/or hospital nursing experience required
• Two years experience in critical care or cardiac inpatient unit preferred
• Two years experience with telemetry monitoring preferred
• Current California RN license required
• Must maintain BLS and ACLS certifications
• All required immunizations including MMR, flu, and COVID-19 vaccine + booster required
