Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shift schedule Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Multi-modality technologist position
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program required with education verification
• ARRT registration in Radiography and CT required
• Wisconsin DSPS radiographer license required
• AHA Provider BLS/CPR certification required
• Maintain active status in all practiced modalities
• Provide clinical leadership and complete advanced level clinical duties
• Demonstrate competency in all exams within assigned modalities
• Corroborate patient clinical history with procedures and ensure proper documentation
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions to minimize anxiety
• Select and operate imaging equipment, image capture devices, and accessories
• Position patients to demonstrate anatomic areas of interest while respecting comfort
• Practice aseptic technique and prepare/administer contrast media as needed
• Start and maintain intravenous access when required
• Provide patient education and basic life support when necessary
• Maintain inventory control and provide input for supply and equipment decisions
• Observe universal protocol, standard precautions, and appropriate patient identifiers
