Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Regular, full-time position (Non-Exempt)
• Perform variety of difficult radiographic examinations and routine to complex exams
• Qualified in at least one modality other than general radiology
• 1-2 years of CT training and experience required
• Must be ARRT registered technologist
• Bachelor's degree in applicable field and 2 years of applicable experience, or combination of education and experience
• Receive patients, explain procedures, position patients, and select technical factors
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assess patient needs
• Calculate correct exposure factors including time, distance, kVp, and mAs
• Control image quality through patient positioning, compression, and image production
• Perform necessary quality control for assigned modalities
• Carry out digital radiology duties including loading readers and pushing images to PACS workstation
• Maintain and troubleshoot cassette readers, PACS, and various radiology IT equipment
• Maintain records of patient workload examinations, equipment, and radiation surveys
• Must maintain ARRT accreditation including 24 continuing education units per biennium
• Physical requirements include ability to lift up to 10 lbs, walk, stand, and sit for extended periods
• Must possess fluent English language skills for professional verbal and written communications
• Post-offer requirements include background check, drug screen, health assessment, immunizations and TB testing
