Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Weekend requirement: May be every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• Work on hospitalist unit/general medicine PCU with currently 1:5 patient ratios (goal is 1:4)
• Expected to float as needed to other PCU units and potentially Med Surg
• Care for adults and geriatrics with pulmonary and other medicine related illnesses
• Unit can accommodate 2 ventilated patients and has 2 vent capable beds for chronic trach patients
• Work with telemetry monitoring (remote telemetry with monitors remaining on units)
• Manage patients with chest tubes, IV drips, trachs, PICC lines, and various oxygen modes including CPAP and BiPAP
• Handle cardiac drips without titration including Cardizem, Heparin, Insulin, low dose dopamine and dobutamine
• 1 year of experience required with 1:5 patient ratio experience
• EPIC experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must work at least 1 holiday per 13-week assignment (2 holidays during winter season)
• 32 hours of orientation provided
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
