Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Fast-paced, high acuity general medicine PCU with 5:1 patient ratios
• Must be highly skilled, experienced, and flexible
• Required to float to other PCU or medical-surgical units as needed
• Self-scheduling system
• 32 hours of orientation required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drips management, and airway management
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with primary pulmonary and GI diagnoses
• May work without CNA support
• Must work at least 1 holiday per assignment (2 holidays during winter season)
• Active nursing license required
• Candidates residing within 100 miles of facility not accepted
