Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Must be able to work Christmas holiday
• Every other weekend required
• On-call as needed based on census
• 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Will float to telemetry units depending on need and ICU census
• 3+ years ICU experience required
• Travel experience required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult ICU patients with daily census of 8
• 12-bed ICU unit
• Required certifications: CA RN License, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: IABP, Impella, PIRRT
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
• Skills include ventilator management, cardiac drip titration, central line care, blood product administration, and management of critically ill patients
• Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing critical thinking skills and scientific judgment
• Demonstrate leadership in planning safe delivery of care and supervising assigned personnel

This healthcare facility operates a 12-bed intensive care unit providing critical care services to adult patients. The facility maintains comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various other specialized services. The organization emphasizes continuing education and clinical competency maintenance while utilizing electronic health records for patient care documentation.
