Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs, agency nurses float first
• Minimum 1 year of experience required (preferably 2 years)
• Cardiac and neuro experience required
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Free parking provided
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
• Non-billable modules averaging 4 hours completed pre-start
• Local candidates within 60 miles not accepted
• Previous permanent staff must be separated from system for 1 year before returning as traveler

This acute care facility operates 276 staffed beds and provides comprehensive cardiovascular and neurological intensive care services. The facility specializes in post-cardiac surgery care and complex medical conditions requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. The organization maintains high standards for patient care with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and phlebotomy, utilizing advanced equipment such as IABP, Impella, CRRT, and cardiac output monitors.
