Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
• 13-week assignment working day shifts
• Choice of 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule
• Self-scheduling model with manager explaining process during call
• Must have Level 4 NICU experience required
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Working in the children's hospital setting
• Must be competent in caring for patients in NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics
• Required to work in all units of the Children's Hospital
• Must be comfortable working in multidisciplinary team requiring strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Required certifications: RRT, BLS, PALS, and ACCS preferred
• Must be competent in use of Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A
• Epic charting experience required
• Float within scope of practice within facility
• Must have 1 year of experience
• Virginia state license required (can submit with pending license but must obtain temp before start)
• BSN preferred
• References required

This academic medical center features a comprehensive children's hospital that provides primary and specialty care in more than 30 specialties. The facility includes 111 beds, a pediatric emergency department, a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for children under 18. The hospital offers a complex congenital heart program accepting patients with all types of congenital cardiac defects including transplants and ECMO capabilities.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
