Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• Required to have charge and precepting experience
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory - hard stop requirement
• BLS certification required
• Must be proficient in Med/Surg care with experience using Rapid Response/Code teams
• Skilled in peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration and tanks, and isolation precautions
• Will be required to float within skillset
• May be required to work as charge nurse and precept other staff
• Care for adult acute care patients with elective back surgeries, trauma, prostate cancer, gallbladders, and cellulitis
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Pending licenses accepted only if candidate holds single-state license from non-compact state
