Description
Opportunity:
Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology
Job Details:
• Work 36 hours per week with day/evening shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Three days of late case coverage per week required
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• No floating requirement
• 1 year EP Lab clinical experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers with required EP experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCES/RCIS
• Preferred certifications: ARRT, Fluoro permit
• Must have experience with Cerner charting system
• Required skills: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, hemodynamic monitoring/ablations, EKG settings and experience (inpatient, outpatient, obtaining vitals, sinus node rhythms)
• Required equipment experience: Philips X-Ray machine/Siemens x-ray machine, GE Micropacer
• Preferred equipment experience: 3D mapping Biosense, 3D mapping Abbott/ESI, GE/Abbott EP4, ViewMate U/Sound, Siemens U/Sound, GE U/Sound, Laser lead machine
• Preferred skills: Groin closure device, peripherals, laser lead extraction
• Handle special procedures including cardiac electrophysiology studies, cardioversion, ablations, device implants and explants
• Average daily caseload of 18 cases
• Scrubs are provided by facility
• 20 hours of orientation
• Must have flu vaccine (required with no exemptions)

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
