Description
Opportunity:
RN - OR
Job Details:
• Work 4 x 10 hour day shifts with rotating weekends and overtime support
• Provide direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families
• Utilize nursing processes including comprehensive patient assessment, care plan development and implementation, and patient education
• Develop and coordinate optimal interdisciplinary care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Maintain collaborative relationships between patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers
• Work every other weekend as required
• 1:1 patient ratio for all shifts
• Must have scrub and circulate experience
• 1 year of experience required in Cardiac, Hepatobiliary, Robotic, Spine, or Ophthalmology services
• 2 years of overall nursing experience required
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS (AHA), CNOR preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must complete 40 hours of orientation
• Work with patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Handle approximately 25 visits per day in 12-room facility
• May float to other locations if census is low on home unit
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing

The facility is equipped with advanced surgical technology including DaVinci robotic systems, Ion, Globus equipment, cataract machines, vitrectomy machines, and Brainlab systems. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic charting systems for comprehensive patient documentation.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
