Opportunity:
Dosimetrist - Dosimetrist
Job Details:
• Provide care to patients from adolescent through geriatric age groups receiving radiation therapy treatments
• Work with daily census of 30-40 patients
• Measure and generate radiation dose distributions and calculations under direction of Oncologist and/or Medical Physicist
• Design treatment plans and perform dose-volume histogram (DVH) analysis
• Operate specialized equipment including 2 linear accelerators and 1 CT simulator
• Perform special procedures including SRS, SBRT, and HDR treatments
• Work with patients with all disease sites (liver, brain, lung, breast, prostate, bone, head/neck, etc.)
• Required certification: CMD (Certified Medical Dosimetrist)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Valid California state license required at time of submission
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• AHA certifications must be in hand at time of submittal
• 50 miles travel requirement applies
• Complete orientation modules through e-learning system
• Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
