Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with 3x12 schedule
• Must be comfortable working ALL PCU and MS units as a float nurse
• EPIC charting experience required
• Staffing needs re-evaluated every 4 hours - may float 2-3 times per shift (up to every 4 hours)
• May be required to float to CRCH to Inpatient Rehab
• PCU average patient ratio: 5:1 | MS average ratio: 6:1 (may flex up to 7:1)
• Weekend requirement: May be every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be experienced in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration
• Skilled in central line care, trach management, and non-invasive airway support including nasal cannula, CPAP/BiPAP, and chest tubes
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, titrating cardiac drips
• Capable of managing PCA and heparin protocols, administering IV insulin
• Background must include telemetry and stepdown-level care (PCU/DOU/IMC) with cardiovascular experience
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Accept first-time travelers and pending licenses from non-compact states
