Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Patient ratios of 1:3 or 1:4 depending on staffing during night shift
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• 1+ year of recent nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH (must be American Heart Association certified)
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Dress code: Solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms
• EPIC charting system utilized
• Care for pre- and post-operative transplant patients (liver, kidney, kidney/pancreas), nephrology and urology patients
• Work with central monitor systems for step-down rooms and telemetry
• Manage patients with arterial lines and specialized drips in 5 step-down beds
• Skills include blood product administration, central line care, dysrhythmia management, cardiac and vasoactive drip management
• Expected to become proficient in peritoneal dialysis within first 6 months
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks as guaranteed hours allowance
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment possible June through November

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
