Opportunity:
Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM with schedule varying based on patient load
• No weekend coverage required
• Work at ambulatory clinic located at 1240 Lee Street in Charlottesville next to the main hospital
• May also work at Moser location at 2871 Ivy Road in Charlottesville, approximately two miles away
• 3 years of experience required
• Virginia license required but eligible for temporary licensure if licensed in another state
• Must have license in hand by Wednesday before start date
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS, state licensed
• ARRT certification for therapy required
• ARIA charting experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Prefer inpatient hospital experience but will accept outpatient experience in radiation oncology center
• Experience with TrueBeam and ARIA systems required
• Provide care for all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Float within scope of practice within the facility
• Can offer longer assignment through January 3, 2026
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• References required for submission
• Up to 16 hours of non-billable modules completed during orientation

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
