Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts with 1:2 patient ratio
• Contract options: 13 or 26 weeks with 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (no first-time travelers accepted)
• Float within service line to other ICU units as needed
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Epic charting system experience required
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Navy scrubs required
• RTO limited to no more than 7 days per contract (no RTO first week)
• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility
• Travel experience required
• Extensive ICU skills required including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, CRRT/dialysis, and wound care
• Care for patients with respiratory failure, cardiac conditions, stroke, multi-organ failure, sepsis, and pre/post-operative surgical patients
• Work with specialized equipment including IV pumps, ventilators, BiPAP, hemodynamic monitors, and defibrillators
• Provide care for adult and geriatric populations
• Charge nurse assignments as needed
• Holiday shifts as required

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
