Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment with no on-call requirements
• Float between X-Ray and CT units as needed
• Work with patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• 8 hours of orientation required
• Must be able to lift and carry 40-50 lbs
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist and 1 year experience as a CT technologist
• Technical School Diploma Graduate of accredited Radiography program or equivalent required
• Must complete Pass/Fail Exam (candidates have 3 attempts to pass)
• Complete modules during orientation (first 8 hours non-billable, additional time billable)
• Equipment includes CT GE Maxima, XR GE Definium Tempo, and XR GE portable
• Perform imaging exams including abdomen, chest, head, heart, musculoskeletal trauma, and vascular studies
• Skills in contrast media preparation/administration, venipuncture, and starting peripheral IVs required
• Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing
• PA Fingerprints and PA Childline required
• First time travelers accepted
