Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Patient ratios of 1:2-3, may float to step down with ratios of 1:3-4
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system
• Required certifications: ACLS, NIH, TNCC, CSC
• VA or compact license required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Manager prefers RNs with IABP, Impella, CRRT Prismax, and EVD drain skills
• CRRT experience is mandatory plus at least one other specialized skill
• Must complete up to 8 hours of non-billable modules within 1 week of signing
• Care for specialized patient population including trauma, CV surgery, neurosurgery, and complicated surgical patients
• Work with diagnoses including acute ventilator needs, severe sepsis, trauma cases, open heart recovery, TAVR recovery, and multi-system organ failure
• Manage specialized equipment including Swan catheters, balloon pumps, Impella, CRRT machines, and ventilators
• Travel pairs not allowed on this unit
• First-time travelers accepted
