Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• This position is a charge role requiring 1 year minimum experience
• Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 38-bed unit with average daily census of 33
• Work every other weekend with floating required to similar units
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• No call requirements
• Holiday coverage required based on assignment period (work 1-2 holidays depending on total holidays during assignment)
• Required certifications: BLS
• Must have Epic experience (required), work with Pyxis and SBAR systems
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Skills required include blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tubes, colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tube management, heparin and insulin administration, isolation precautions, telemetry monitoring, IV management, wound care, and use of rapid response teams
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback for non-compliance
• GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager or above required)
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
