Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday with rotating start times as needed
• Rotate primarily between PACU and pre/post interventional radiology area within PACU unit
• No weekends, no call, and no holiday requirements
• 2 years of experience required with critical care experience mandatory
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; CCRN and TNCC preferred
• Must be comfortable with Phase I PACU, dysrhythmia recognition/management, blood product administration, phlebotomy, starting IVs, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, and care of ventilated patients
• Experience required with drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia
• Must pass Relias EKG exam
• Will float within scope to PACU or PreOp units as needed
• Navy blue scrubs required
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility
• Recover patients from neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant procedures
• Night shift personnel must learn preop patient workup
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
