Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• 36 hours guaranteed for 3x12 hour shifts or 40 hours guaranteed for 8/10 hour shifts
• Must have scrub experience and 2 years of direct CVOR experience required
• Cardiac call required - approximately 6 minimum per month (1 per weekday and 2 weekend shifts, weekends are 24-hour shifts)
• May work up to 10 call shifts if facility is short-staffed
• Must be able to start call immediately and work with cardiac OR setup
• Will perform other cases when no CVOR cases are available
• Required to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Must be willing to participate in training students and new staff at this teaching facility
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Must pass EKG and Pharm test during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Charting system: EPIC
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Must complete time-sensitive modules immediately upon confirmation
• 18 beds in unit with daily census of 55-60
• Free parking in any unrestricted space
• All RTO must be submitted upfront at time of application
