Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 13-week assignment with three 12-hour shifts per week
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• 8 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed
• Regular floating required between departments, units, and facilities
• Must have Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact state license
• Minimum 1 year experience required, 2 years preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS preferred
• Epic charting system experience
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adults and geriatric patients with intermediate level conditions
• Manage patients with stroke, heart failure, respiratory failure, pneumonia, renal failure, and post-surgical care
• Skills include cardiac monitoring, telemetry interpretation, IV therapy, blood product administration, central line management, wound care, and emergency response
• Work with interdisciplinary team including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Maximum 7 days request time off allowed
• No local candidates accepted (must live more than 75 miles from facility)
• 2 professional references required from past year

The facility provides intermediate level care for a wide variety of conditions and features full interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The organization utilizes Epic charting system and maintains high standards for patient care with comprehensive orientation and ongoing education programs.
