Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Must be able to work Christmas
• Every other weekend schedule required
• On-call as needed based on census
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Will float to Telemetry units depending on need and ICU census
• 3+ years experience required
• Travel experience required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: CA RN License, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (all must be AHA certified)
• Preferred certifications: IABP, Impella, PIRRT
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Provide care to adult ICU patients with daily census of 8 in 12-bed unit
• Utilize critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe patient care delivery
• Manage patients requiring ventilator support, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, and multisystem organ dysfunction
• Skills include blood product administration, central line care, continuous IV sedation, arterial blood gas interpretation, dysrhythmia management, and pre/post cardiac catheterization care
• Supervise and delegate patient care to assigned personnel
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing contract
• Background check disclosure required prior to submission
