Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PACU
Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour shifts per week with varied start times (may start as early as 5:00 AM)
• Position will primarily cover pre-operative area - MUST HAVE PRE-OP EXPERIENCE
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during days and weekends
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• 2 years of experience in service line required
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Must have charting system experience (Altera experience preferred but not required)
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Texas nursing license in hand required with submittal
• Must pass mandatory drug screen upon arrival (includes marijuana testing)
• Complete 6-8 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
• Hard document due date: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates within 150-mile radius not accepted
• Previous permanent staff must be gone 1 year to return as traveler

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
