Description
Opportunity:
RN - OR
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• Holiday rotation required
• On-call required up to 4 weekend call shifts every 4 weeks
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units/sister facilities
• 2 years of experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, Radiation Badge (provided by agency)
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
• Work with all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Patient ratios 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule requests require manager approval based on unit needs
• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start

The facility operates as a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven department with cutting-edge technology and a nursing team consisting of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists. As a teaching facility with 820 staffed beds, the organization provides comprehensive surgical services and maintains interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
