Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work night shifts 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend coverage every other weekend as needed
• Holiday rotation required - expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• May float to other units including rehab when needed
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• No call requirements
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed per contract
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac disease and stroke
• Work on 32-bed Step Down Intermediate Care Unit from ICU
• Handle acute cardiac events requiring continuous IV medication drips
• Provide pre and post care for electrophysiology studies, cardiac catheterization, and pacemaker/AICD procedures
• May care for stable open heart surgery patients transferred from ICU
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility
• Pennsylvania nursing license required with no license hits accepted
• Modules must be completed pre-start and are billable (5-6 hours)
