Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Work four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating days off
• 40 hours per week with call and late stay requirements based on staffing needs
• Call requirements include one call shift every other week and one weekend call shift every 6-week schedule
• Weekend call coverage on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday every 6 weeks
• One late stay required during the week when not on call
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with at least one prior travel assignment
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT or ARDMS, Cardiac Interventional (CI), CVT
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, ARRT Advanced
• Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional, Cardiac-Interventional, or Cardiovascular preferred but not required
• Skills required: C-Arm operation, contrast administration, biopsies, IR/Angio/Special Procedure experience
• Work with patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform comprehensive interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, and various vascular interventions
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Use Cerner charting system
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• DC license required and must be in hand at time of submission

This major academic medical center operates as a 402-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital providing comprehensive interventional radiology services. The facility offers the complete range of vascular, nonvascular, and neurological image-guided procedures using advanced techniques and cutting-edge equipment. The interventional radiology department specializes in minimally invasive procedures including clot removal, vascular interventions, tumor treatments, organ drainage, and biopsies performed through tiny incisions with image guidance for maximum patient safety.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
