Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x9 day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 10 call shifts per month required: 1 Friday per month, 6 Monday-Thursday calls per month, and 3 24-hour weekend call shifts per month
• No other weekend requirements
• No float requirements
• Handle 5 cases per day with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work in 2-room cath lab facility
• 2 years of experience required with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• 1 prior travel assignment required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS, MD Board of Physicians certification
• Must have experience with diagnostic cardiac cath lab, interventional cardiac cath lab, ASD closures, cardiac implant closure devices, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, and percutaneous coronary interventions
• Electrophysiology lab experience preferred including AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, and cardiac ablation
• Must be proficient in equipment setup, EKG lead placement, sterile field maintenance, vascular closure systems, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Ceil blue scrubs provided by unit
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
• Two supervisor references required
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
