Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 x 9-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call requirements: 10 call shifts per month including 1 Friday per month, 6 Monday-Thursday calls per month, and 3 24-hour weekend call shifts per month
• No other weekend requirements or float requirements
• Handle 5 cases per day with adult and geriatric patient population
• Work in 2-room cath lab facility
• Scrubs provided by unit in ceil blue color
• Must have 2 years of experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS, MD Board of Physicians certification
• Experience required with ASD closures, cardiac implant closure devices, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, left and right heart catheterizations, and percutaneous coronary interventions
• Must be proficient in accurate monitoring, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, access site preparation, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulation, and maintaining sterile field
• Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) required
• Electrophysiology lab experience preferred including AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, and cardiac ablation
• One prior travel assignment required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Two supervisor references required for submission
