Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week (3x12s)
• 13-week assignment duration with ASAP start date
• Work in fast-paced emergency department with 65,000 annual visits
• Care for patients across the lifespan from neonate to geriatric
• Work with 36 beds including 8 express care beds
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
• 3 years of nursing experience required
• Must have active Virginia license or Compact license in hand at submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• TNCC preferred but not required (trauma center experience acceptable alternative)
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Must attend EPIC training class (accelerated or 2-day option)
• Skills include: arterial line management, central line care, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, triage, ventilated patients, and dysrhythmia management
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st)
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Smoke/nicotine free facility
• Up to 7 hours of non-billable modules required during orientation
