Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Weekend requirement: Every other Saturday/Sunday; Holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratio: 2 patients per nurse for days, nights, and weekends
• Float occasionally to other units as needed
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS, ACLS
• Required within specified timeframes: PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 180 days), NIHSS (within 90 days)
• Extensive ICU skills required including arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, blood product administration, cardiac drip titration, and post-surgical care
• Care for adult patients with various diagnoses including trauma, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, and critical illnesses
• Work in 44-bed ICU with daily census of 40 patients
• Self-scheduling system
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Only one holiday request will be approved (No Thanksgiving or Christmas Day requests)
