Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:6 across all shifts
• 32-room unit with average daily census of 29 patients
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Floating to other units required
• No call requirements
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Must work assigned holidays based on assignment period (1-2 holidays: work all; 3 holidays: work 2)
• Required certifications: BLS (required), ACLS and NIHSS preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system experience required, plus Pyxis and SBAR
• Skills include isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, nasal cannula, high flow nasal cannula, chest tubes, starting IVs, PICC line management, blood product administration, and feeding tube care
• 36-hour orientation period
• Full compliance required to start on time or face 2-week delay
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Two supervisory references highly preferred
